WELCOME to the Stencil PLAY Workshop Information and Registration page.
The Stencil PLAY Workshop is all about learning how to use stencils in your art journal and/or mixed media art.

I will give several demonstrations at the beginning of class, sharing all of the tips and tricks I have learned over the years.
I will share my favorite stenciling techniques, including using paint, spray ink, spray paint, a paint scraper, the Gelli Arts Gelli Plate, and tips on making your own stencils.

Each student will receive a PDF (emailed after class) with a list of suggested supplies, ten stenciling techniques, including making your own stencils (DIY), stenciling resources (where to buy stencils, etc.), and art journaling resources (magazines and artists).

Let's have some fun with stencils!
Stencil PLAY Workshop Details:
Purpose: To explore a variety of stencils and stenciling techniques
What you will learn:
- how to use stencils
- tools to use with stencils
- several brand names of commercial stencils and where to buy them
- techniques for applying paint, spray ink, spray paint, a paint scraper, etc.
- tips on making your own (DIY) stencils
When: Saturday, June 27th, 2015 1pm-4pm
Where: The Artful Nook (on the border of Richfield and Minneapolis)
Who: Adults who want to learn more about using, making, or purchasing stencils for their art journaling or mixed media art
Cost: $45 per person (includes use of all supplies, instruction, and a PDF of stenciling techniques and resources)
No prior art experience necessary!
