Welcome to the Mark Making Workshop information and registration page.
On Saturday, May 30th, 2015, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, you're invited to sweep, tap, dot, dab, dash, splatter, roll, and print with non-traditional mark making materials.
One of the most unique and interesting things that we can do as artists is to make our mark. We each have our own way of making marks. If mark making feels intimidating, I assure you that the non-traditional materials we will be exploring with, will help you loosen up and have fun!
For years, I felt afraid of using ink. At the same time, I LOVED seeing the use of ink in other artists' work. After taking this Mark Making Workshop, my hope is that ink will become a supply that invigorates you, rather than intimidates you.
