Grid Hearts
We'll paint a wild background with acrylic paints.
Next, we'll isolate a grid of hearts (3 x 4, or something similar), by tracing a heart stencil.
The next steps involve more acrylic paint, and potentially some mixed media supplies, like art crayons, pencils, etc.
Supplies:
- 140 lb. watercolor paper or a canvas of your choice
- acrylic paints in a variety of colors
- an opaque or semi-opaque color to isolate the hearts
- heart stencil that fits your paper or canvas
- pencil
- brushes
- paint palette
- baby wipes and/or paper towels
- water jar
- mixed media art crayons, colored pencils, gelatos, etc.
- hair dryer or heat tool (optional)

Rainbow of Colors-Deli Papers for Collage
Semi-transparent painted papers are always great to have in your collage paper stash. Let's make some!
Supplies:
- Acrylic paints in a rainbow of colors
- Paint palette
- Gel plate
- Soft rubber brayer
- paint brush
- Texture tools (or things like bubblewrap)
- Deli paper or "wet strength tissue paper"
- Plastic tablecloth to dry your wet papers or drying rack
- baby wipes

Collage a Color Wheel (or something else fun)
We'll cut into our painted deli papers to create a color wheel!
Supplies:
- Painted deli papers
- Scissors
- Matte medium or glue stick
- Substrate (140 lb. watercolor paper)
- Plastic card to flatten air bubbles
- Envelope or plastic baggie to collect scraps
- Baby wipes

The Ink Tiger
This is such a fun project, brought to us by @thelittleartistsroom.
Supplies:
- 140 lb. watercolor paper
- red, orange, and yellow ink (drawing ink) that is transluscent or semi-transluscent
- paintbrush
- water jar
- black acrylic paint, pink acrylic paint (nose and ears)
- paper palette
- strip of cardboard
- permanent black marker
- sponge cut into a triangle (optional)
