Good Day, Good Day!
Do you ever receive packages or gifts with newsprint as a protective wrapper? Perhaps you've set out to move your home and purchased moving boxes and newsprint?
My point is, newsprint is a fun surface to play on with paint and mark making tools, like colored pencils.
See below for an example of how I recently played on newsprint.
Step 1:
Paint white ovals with tempera paint. Allow the paint to drip as you move from palette to paper, painting a number of ovals.
Step 2: Use a Catalyst blade to scrape blue paint across the mid-section of your oval cluster. (I used two shades of blue).
Step 3: Add some pink and yellow paint. Make marks with the Catalyst blade as you go.
Step 4: Use the blue pencil from the Crayola My Color Is Blue pack to add scribbles and Xs.
Congratulations! You just had fun being in the present moment while recycling and repurposing newsprint!
I hope you have an amazing day!
Blessings to you,
Briana
