Tomorrow I am teaching another workshop from the MiXed MEdiA and Expressive Arts Workshop Series.
These workshops are intended for adults who have the desire to explore mixed media art materials, are interested in personal growth, and believe in the power of creativity. I like to say, "Art is good." What I mean by this is that art is good for your mind, body, soul, and spirit.
In teaching these workshops, I hope to inspire you to play with art materials in a way that feels fun, relaxing, and perhaps new for you. My goal is to help you feel less fear around making art, so that you can simply enjoy the process.
The next workshop is on Saturday, March 28th, 2015 and is called Pattern and Design Play using Basic Supplies. Each student receives a class kit with their registration fee. I love to give things and make things, so I am pretty sure you won't be disappointed with the kit. That's all I'll say about it.
I also bring tons of my personal art supplies to share with you during the workshop. If you have any questions on how to use something, I am there to help you. I don't know everything, but I am happy to share what I have and what I know.
The workshop is two hours long, and you will without a doubt, take home several patterned papers that you are excited about. Patterned papers made by YOU, that you can then use in your next mixed media art projects, artful planners, book binding projects, card making session, or art journals. You decide.
And, I hope everyone will try their hand at making, or at least using, a handmade foam stamp. These are sooooooo fun!
If you are ready to play around with pattern making, sign up to join the fun!
Just to recap, you get a class kit, use of my personal art supplies, and time to relax with like minded, creative souls.
One more bonus: I am cooking up a great giveaway. I will announce the winner during class tomorrow.
I hope to see you there!
