Yesterday I worked on the first project for Mary Ann Moss' SEWN class. I had a lot of fun cutting diamonds out of various papers. I even stopped at the local thrift store to check for some books of a certain era. I like books with both black and white and color illustrations/photos. Then when doing collage work, I have more choices!
If you haven't ever taken an online class with Mary Ann Moss, I highly recommend it. She's super fun! I always learn a lot while having a great time. You can't ask for much more than that!
And because I am always taking self-portraits, here's one with my new journal! It's not perfect, but I am proud of it! I mean come on, it's been awhile since I've been crafting at the sewing machine!
