MCBA and Open Book in May

I was just at the May meeting for the Visual Journal Collective this week, and I took some photos of what's on display at MCBA!

I just adore Open Book and MCBA.  Everytime I am there, it feels like home.

Anyway, here are the many photos that I snapped earlier this week!

Ah, the MCBA Shop makes me drool!  Just look at all of those journals, papers, and books!

If you are ever in Minneapolis, I highly recommend a visit to Open Book.  It is a fabulous facility that houses MCBA and The Loft Literary Center.  

Noelle Rollins Art (Photo Shoot)

I recently went to my friend Noelle Maki Rollins Spring Boutique at her art studio.  I was there offering mini photo sessions and photo cards for sale.  I also ended up taking product photos for Noelle.  Noelle arranges and displays her art so well, it was a joy to photograph.  Here are some photos that I took of her work:

In case you can't tell, Noelle has a vibrant, fun, and positive energy about her.  Her art reflects these attributes, as well.
